Canadian Statutory Holidays in 2011

On this page you can find a calendar for holidays in Canada for 2011 including stat holidays and other unofficial celebrations such as St. Patrick's Day.

Perfect! Canada Day in 2011 is a Friday. It'll make a nice long weekend for sure. According to our holiday poll, Canada Day is the 2nd most popular holiday in Canada after Christmas.

Christmas time is still half weekend, half weekday (Sun/Mon), which is better than last year's all-weekend Christmas but it'll still bring up a lot of questions about which day to take off from work.

Labour Day and Thanksgiving are on Mondays of course but this year Halloween and Valentine's Day also fall on Mondays. Halloween is always better on Fridays or Saturdays but it's not until 2014 when we'll have a Halloween Friday:(

We hope that this 2011 holiday calendar helps you plan your vacations - after all why else would anyone care about holidays:-)
